Keep an eye out for Cancer Council volunteers at the gates of Adelaide Oval at this years’ 2015 IGA Grand Final.
Volunteers will be collecting donations at all gates on Sunday before Woodville West-Torrens take on North Adelaide during the Reserves Grand Final and Woodville West-Torrens battle West Adelaide in the A Grade Grand Final.
Funds raised will go towards Cancer Council SA’s 2016 Adelaide Central Relay For Life to be held the weekend of 2/3 April 2016.
Relays are an amazing sight of colour, excitement and passion as thousands of people, at events around the State, take on the challenge of keeping their team’s baton, and symbol of hope, moving around the track for 19 hours.
By taking part, Relay participants are celebrating cancer survivorship, remembering those they have lost to the disease and bringing everyone together to fight-back against cancer.
Cancer Council SA is the only organisation in South Australia working across every area of cancer including research, prevention, support and advocacy.
Cancer Council SA is encouraging people of all ages to register a team and join in the fight to beat cancer at the Adelaide Central Relay For Life on 2 and 3 April 2016.
