Everyday, 26 South Australians are diagnosed with cancer.

Everyday, every one of us can do something to bring the defeat of cancer closer.

Join us and make a difference in the fight to beat cancer by becoming a Cancer Council Ambassador.

Cancer Council SA Ambassadors are regular South Australians from all walks of life who want to make a real difference in the fight to beat cancer. Ambassadors partner with Cancer Council SA, taking action to defeat cancer in their homes, workplaces, schools, universities, sporting clubs - in fact, everywhere.

Join us by filling out an application form

“Having lost my dear mother last year after a terrible 13 month battle, I’ve seen how cancer can shake people to their core. I want to let my personal experience make a positive difference to other people’s lives and not waste the opportunity I’ve been given” – Kylie, 27 of Nailsworth.

    What do Ambassadors do?

Cancer Council SA Ambassadors will have the opportunity to take action on cancer prevention, cancer support and fundraising activities, including:

    • representing Cancer Council at community events
    • acting for Cancer Council SA in local communities and workplaces
    • leading volunteer teams and projects
    • promoting and championing fundraising events
    • communicating cancer prevention messages
    • generating awareness of Cancer Council’s support services within the local community

All Ambassadors receive a unique Ambassador pack included in the $50 registration fee.
